Kitchen Designer / Estimator BLUK46547

Our client is an established, privately owned family business renowned for the quality of its superior kitchens. Since its establishment in 1987, with roots dating back to the mid 1940’s, they have grown a solid reputation as a provider to the specific needs of the contract kitchen market, supplying specialist ranges for the public housing sector, private developer market and trade merchants.

They supply some of the largest house builders in the UK market, and are looking for a Designer/Estimator to assist with the growing business.

Producing Kitchen Plans using PLANIT FUSION design software from architectural plans / designs, you will prepare costings of same using Microsoft Excel, manage and maintain a database and hardcopies of the work produced and quotations provided.  You will be required to liaise with customers and their external sales team to provide advice on products where appropriate.

Candidates for this role should be capable of working as part of a small team, on their own initiative, and of communicating with external and internal customers in a clear and concise manner.  With a natural ability for attention to detail, you should have good IT skills (Excel, Word etc.) and be willing to take ownership of jobs and follow them through to conclusion.

Experience in the use of Kitchen Design Software (ideally PLANIT Fusion) and a background in kitchen design and experience of working with architectural drawings are also required for the role.     

For the right person there is potential/scope for this to become a supervisory role within the department.
