DUTIES INCLUDE:
??? Start to finish freight operations
??? Response to customer bookings and global agents requests
??? Response to customer and internal enquiries in a professional and timely manner
??? Develop productive working relationships with the sales and operations team to share customer knowledge, opportunity & support
??? Ensure accurate and timely data entry and record keeping
??? Handling purchase invoices promptly and raising sales invoices accurately with agreed timescales
??? Handling and understanding of shipping documentation i.e. B/L, Consular docs etc
??? Monitoring shipments
??? Customs entries
??? Arranging collections and deliveries at a competitive price ??? Multi-modal
??? Meeting with various freight related suppliers to review service and pricing
??? Focus on departmental margins and maximising revenue of each job
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE :
??? A minimum 3 years+ experience within freight forwarding
??? Career driven and seeking greater financial reward linked to results
??? A greater emphasis towards Air & Ocean Imports and dealing with global agents
??? A basic working knowledge of exports would be advantageous
??? A sound knowledge of customs regulations and submitting import customs entries
??? A sound knowledge of airport /sea port procedures and operations
??? Focused on departmental profits and maximising revenue of each job file
??? Experience of leading a small team with effective leadership skills
??? Strong commercial acumen
??? Computer literate with excellent customer service skills
Hours: 42.5 Hours Per week Mon- Fri
