Corporate and Special Events Fundraising Officer
Bristol
Salary £23,814 to £24,807
Contract: Initially fixed term for 1 year with potential for it to become permanent post
It is an exciting time at Together for Short Lives, as we strive to achieve our vision that all children and young people in the UK with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, have as fulfilling lives as possible and the best care at the end of life.
49,000 children and young people are living in the UK with health conditions that are life-shortening or life-threatening - and the number is rising. Together for Short Lives is the leading UK charity that speaks out for all children and young people who are expected to have short lives. Together with everyone who provides care and support to these children and their families, we are here to help them have as fulfilling lives as possible and the very best care at the end of life. We can't change the diagnosis, but we can help children and families make the most of their time together.
This role will help us to achieve this vision by working across two of our key income areas - corporate partnerships and special events. In supporting a number of our major corporate partners, and helping to drive forward our special events programme, this role will play an integral part in the success of our future fundraising efforts.
Based at our offices in Bristol, you will be working closely with colleagues across the fundraising team and wider organisation. You will be highly organised, motivated, creative and enjoy working under pressure and to deadlines. Most of all you will be determined to help our fundraising grow in these exciting and varied areas of work.
