HR Assistant

We are currently recruiting for an HR Assistant to work for a large, local company based in Taunton on a temporary basis for approximately 6 months. This position will involve working within the HR team, you will be involved in supporting the end to end process of learning and development, from identification of a training need for employees, booking training and organising training sessions. In addition, you will provide general support for the HR team gaining an understanding of all areas including performance management process, resourcing, on-boarding, reward and recognition, employee relations and policy. Key Responsibilities: Day to day operational and administrative support to the L&D team in all areas such as dealing with managers queries about learning and development opportunities, supporting the performance management process and involvement in management development programmes.Arranging Inductions and Orientation.Working with Security to ensure visitors and trainers as well as interview candidates and new starters have the relevant documents to enable them to be appropriately welcomed on site.Answering ad hoc queries and requests from both internal and external customers.Day to day administrative HR support data base support and recruitmentInvolvement in on-going HR projects, aiming to streamline processes and develop our talent. Skills and Requirements Excellent interpersonal and communications skills,Excellent time management skills,Ability to adapt to change,Strong organisation skills,Ability to work and deliver work at pace,Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel,Keen eye for detail,Strong analytic skills.
