This company are looking for a keen and motivated individual who can support the business development and marketing roles to help maintain the brand, generate business, and submit bids and tenders.
The role is very varied, and a great way to learn the many different functions of their company, providing a huge opportunity for progression.
The role includes:
- Downloading tender documentation from Procurement Portals to aid bid/no bid discussions
- Providing support to the Commercial and Estimating teams on tenders to ensure delivery against agreed timetable
- Creating, editing and proof-reading pre-qualification questionnaires and tender submissions to ensure a clear and concise message, correct and consistent use of grammar, and formatting documents to adhere to brand guidelines
- Uploading of tender submissions to procurement portals
- Assisting with controlling company documents and procedures ensuring quality adheres to ISO 9001
- Assisting with establishing and maintaining a library of supporting material for the company
- Coordination and design of the company's marketing material and communications including presentations, brochures, data sheets, websites (Wordpress), social media and other external communications
You will:
- Build relationships quickly,demonstrating a friendly and approachable attitude
- Be professional, confident and self-motivated
- Be comfortable taking ownership and control of work
- Demonstrate effective time management, planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hold a UK driving licence and have access to own transport
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent IT skills, especially within Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Have experience working with Wordpress, and the Adobe Creative Cloud especially InDesign and Photoshop (not essential)
In return they offer:
40 hour contract
Salary: £16,000 - £20,000 (to be negotiated)
