An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HGV Driver to join our Company working regularly within the UK with occasional continental/international travel.
Remuneration and Benefits
- Competitive basic salary of around £10.40 per hour offered dependent upon experience.

The Job
The Head Office of the Company is at Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire but the role will involve regular UK travel and some overnight stays as well as occasional continental work should the need arise.
The Ideal HGV Driver:
The successful candidate must possess he following skills and experience:
- Hold a Class 2 HGV Licence.
- Be able to accurately complete paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Experience of working within the removals industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
The Role:
Driving Company HGV Fleet vehicles (Class 2) working on domestic, continental and Caribbean Removals.
The work will involve the loading and unloading of containers and completion of associated documentation.
You will be expected to wrap and pack furniture ensuring all goods are marked correctly and inventories are completed in full and assist the team when on removals and collections and in the warehouse as and when required.
You will be required to keep the vehicles clean on a weekly basis and complete the necessary maintenance sheets.
Health and safety is a big part of the role ensuring you are using all equipment provided for your own and other’s safety.

The company have over 50 years’ experience in removals and relocations and many valued customers return year after year. The Company is well established and also has a Storage facility and an Estate Agents.
