St Barnabas house provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including In-patient care, Day Hospice and Community care. Physiotherapist - St. Barnabas house Location: Worthing, West Sussex Part - Time: 25.5 hours per week Salary. GBP19,543 - GBP21,808 (FTE GBP28,740 - GBP32,070) depending on experience Due to the development of a new therapy service we have an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist to join our therapy team. You will work with the therapy and support services lead to provide high quality palliative rehabilitation to patients with life limiting conditions with a focus on promoting independence. You will be working together with the multi-disciplinary team on our 20 bed inpatient unit. You will also be providing outpatient services including a breathlessness clinic and exercise classes as well as visiting patients in their own homes to help maintain their independence. The ability to drive and ownership of your own car is essential in this role. We will support you in your Continuing Professional Development as we have an excellent Education department running regular relevant courses. If you are an enthusiastic physiotherapist with at least 2 years post-graduate experience then this could be the role for you. An enhanced DBS will be sought, if you are successful in this role.
