Job Title: Regional Marketing Specialist - EMEA

Location: Poynton, Cheshire, UK

Salary: Competitive

The EMEA Regional Marketing specialist is responsible for the execution of a robust marketing plan that generates the volume and quality of sales-ready leads required to achieve the company's overall objectives for regional growth. The Regional Marketing specialist will build and execute a diverse portfolio of outbound campaigns targeting both new and existing customers, for the Telemarketing and Inside Sales team charged with lead generation, qualification, nurturing, and closure of opportunities. They will also be responsible for growing the Regional Marketing Database. This role will support the day-to-day performance evaluation and optimization of all marketing lead sources and all stages of the sales funnel and includes working in close partnership with the regional sales team leads, global marketing team, and other regional managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation

  • Achieve lead generation (volume and quality) targets to deliver EMEA revenue growth, with a primary focus on the key markets of Germany, UK, France, and Italy
  • Develop and execute Local Marketing Campaigns
  • Identify opportunities to develop local campaigns as well to address local trends or local high priorities not specifically covered in Campaigns from Global team
  • Partner with the Global team in creating the messaging and content to deliver (eMail, Tele Lead Gen, PPC, SEO, etc.)
  • Execute local country campaigns, following global approach, standards, and brand guidelines
  • Manage and execute local activities such as trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, webinars, roadshows, etc.
  • Track each campaign results for best practice sharing or improvement as necessary
  • Drive EMEA Telemarketing and Inside Sales activities
  • Drive day-to-day execution of campaigns and achievement of performance KPIs (as individuals, and as teams)
  • Define telephone campaigns along with EMEA Regional Marketing & Business Operations Manager and the Global Marketing Campaign Manager and provide the team with call lists, scripts and support materials
  • Track and report results

Market Visibility

  • Own and build exhaustive database of addressable market for the Region
  • Develop and evolve a view of total market size for the region and major countries, by priority vertical
  • Create exhaustive database of addressable market for the region, leveraging both internal and external sources of data to close the gaps
  • Aggressively drive to complete each customer/prospect profile to maximize opportunities for data-driven, relevant marketing
  • Manage a data maintenance process to improve and refresh the database

Relationship Management

  • Key partner to Global and Regional Marketing team
  • Contribute to annual global marketing planning process
  • Inform definition of campaign priorities and content
  • Support product launch initiatives by building awareness and engagement of local teams
  • Support local exhibitions and tradeshows
  • Lead localization of marketing materials and tools

The Candidate:

Required Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or sales in a direct B2B industrial, print, or packaging market
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation programs using a metric-driven approach and a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to create successful content and campaign materials beyond product collaterals
  • General understanding of digital marketing (PPC, SEO, email, social) fundamentals
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Proven ability to drive results through effective management of cross-functional partners and teams without formal authority.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for driving change and continuous improvement
  • Success in building and managing project plans to committed deadlines, using standard project management tools and best practices
  • Ability to punctually travel, primarily within Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, additional European language would be an advantage
  • Strong communication and writing skills

Preferred Experience

  • Managed a full lead process, including tracking and quantification
  • Developed successful outbound campaigns
  • Managed successful tradeshows, customer events
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM and Marketing automation tools
