Fantastic opportunity not to be missed! The Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) has an exciting opportunity for an Event Operations Manager to join the team in Holborn. Joining us on a full time 2 year fixed term contract, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,200 - £39,400.

The Royal College of Anaesthetists offers a wide range of educational conferences and events aimed at doctors in anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine. This Event Operations Manager role will join a vibrant and exciting team who together deliver over 100 events a year from high impact simulation events for groups of 30 people up to largescale conferences for over 300.

The Event Operations Manager will be responsible for the day to day delivery and operational planning for the programmes of educational and professional development events that support anaesthetists at all stages of their career. The role involves line management of a team of event co-ordinators. Tasks will include overseeing the end to end event management process, comprising administration, logistics, marketing and budget reporting. You will work with the head of education and events to deliver innovation as well as highlighting efficiencies in delivery and programming.

The successful Event Operations Manager will have experience of working in a comparable events environment. They will also be proficient in line managing teams of multiple people and of working with and servicing a committee structure. The post calls for a pro-active, calm, confident, articulate professional with a hardworking, organised approach, who is able to lead a group of people to deliver a quality service for the College’s members, delegates and speakers.
