Our client is a long-established small business providing roofing solutions to both domestic and commercial clients, and they now require an experienced Surveyor / Estimator.

Prior experience in the construction industry would be a definite advantage, and this post could suit a semi-retired person.

Key skills and experience required

• Previous experience as a Surveyor
• A basic understanding of building and roofing work
• Good communication, verbally and written, and a basic level of computer skills
• Knowledge of statutory requirements and current Building Regulation and Health and Safety requirements, or a willingness to research would be helpful
• Ability to produce accurate roofing estimates and quotations

Role requirements

• Oversee works and run clean and functioning sites
• Liaise and negotiate with clients and deal with their correspondence
• Assist in preparation of estimates
• Help to plan labour inputs

Other Requirements

• Full clean UK driving licence

Flexible hours to suit the business and the appointee, to be discussed at interview.

Near Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire
