Our client has identified an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy family run business based in Southampton. They are seeking an efficient individual with a great attitude towards servicing, maintenance and repairs to a variety of vehicles.
As well as working on a range of all makes and models, the company are Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge specialists and this role offers the opportunity for the right candidate to be trained on a range of types of Vehicles. You will be met with a competitive salary and pension.
About you
The successful candidate will be a team player who works accurately, efficiently and can strategise problems effectively. They will have the following qualifications and skills to hit the ground running:
• Current or recent vehicle technician experience is essential
• Experience working on Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge products would be advantageous
• Full driving license with low points
• Fully qualified vehicle technician with NVQ level 3, IMI apprenticeship, City and Guilds level 2, or equivalent qualifications
• Able to diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic electronic diagnosis equipment
• Good experience of working as a mechanic on a range of cars and some vans
Working hours are 0800/0830- 1800/1730 Monday to Friday and Saturday 0800-1200 (alternate rota basis)
