Red Sea is global leader in developing and manufacturing products for the marine (saltwater) aquarium hobby and sells its products to trade customers within the specialist aquatic industry.
The company is seeking a Sales & Inventory Administrator for its Cheddar-based UK sales office. Working as part of a small team, this is a full-time position 9am-5pm/Monday-Friday.
The successful candidate must be confident, able to professionally resolve credit control and trade customer queries and complaints, enjoy using their initiative and working independently and possess excellent attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing & invoicing trade sales orders.
- Trade credit control (email and telephone) & updating the company’s CRM system (ACT) as required.
- Stock / sales analysis and forecasting.
- Processing importation & shipping data.
- Working with Red Sea’s external warehousing and logistic partner to ensure prompt and accurate goods in/out.
- Resolving shipping & customer service issues.
- Processing inter-Company purchase orders.
- Back-office support for Red Sea’s field sales team.
Required competencies:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including a friendly and professional telephone manner when dealing with trade customers.
- Proficiency in using in MS Office Suite (Experience of SAP Business-1 Accounts is also preferred).
- Attention to detail and diligence in all correspondence and tasks.
- Ability to work under time-pressure, often dealing with multiple tasks simultaneously.
The successful candidate salary will be dependent on experience and ability.
