Reporting to the Toolroom Manager and Supervisor, you will be responsible for the set-up and operation of the robotic welding machine, associated equipment, conventional welding for dies and for general fabrication.

Working closely with CAD Engineers, Machine Operators and Management, you will inspect, record and maintain acceptable quality standards and run machinery as per SOPs and instruction. Ensuring the quality of parts, you will make improvements to cutting times, minimising scrap and reducing tooling costs.

Candidates for this role must have excellent communication skills coupled with knowledge and experience of conventional welding techniques. With some MIG and TIG Welding experience, you will be confident in reading and understanding engineering and component drawings and have a good understanding of ISO 9001 and quality principles.
