Web Developer - Junior to Mid-Weight (permanent)

This company is a small but very successful web design and digital marketing agency, specialising in Drupal and Shopify development.

Their projects range from simple CMS sites, to complex Intranet solutions and e-commerce websites.

They are currently recruiting for a junior/mid-weight developer who will fit into their agency and hit the ground running. This varied role will entail being involved in full stack development projects, client support and website/server support and maintenance.

You need to have:

- Good PHP skills in relation to a known CMS - Drupal preferred, however, strong experience with WordPress will win you points
- Exposure to admin management and setup of a known CMS - Drupal preferred, however strong experience with WordPress will win you points
- CSS/SASS experience - you don't have to be an expert - our front end developers already are
- Knowledge of programming jQuery / JavaScript
- Knowledge of version control using GIT
- Experience of website and email management and support - liaising with clients as required
- Ability to write clean, efficient and readable code
- Got to be a friendly, team player - Personality is important at this company
- Got to be passionate about what you do and take pride in always providing the very best solution
- Attention to detail and time - so they can pay the bills

It would be great if you had:

- Knowledge of Shopify development
- Ruby on Rails experience - for Shopify App development
- Drupal module development - version 7 and 8
- Twig and Liquid theming experience
- Server management using Plesk
- Linux command line environment
