Our client, based in Gillingham are offering a fantastic opportunity to join their dynamic and ever-growing IT company.
The role is for a Software Developer, primarily focused within VB .NET, JavaScript and SQL Server, but can expand to include Objective C and Android development as experience grows. The role will involve dealing with customers over the phone, troubleshooting issues within their existing bespoke systems, and being involved with developing new and exciting systems on a variety of platforms. They are looking for someone who will want to grow and develop their skills and will not be afraid to get involved with something new, with appropriate support.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development, be self-motivated, a team player and be well organised. You???ll be enthusiastic and dedicated. You???ll need to also be confident to constructively challenge yourself/the team in order to develop the best solutions for the customer.
To summarise, the successful candidate will be:
-Confident on the phone with a good phone manner
-Able to deal with a busy schedule
- Keen to solve problems
-Highly organised
-Able to deliver excellent customer service
-Self-motivated but also enjoy being part of a team
Experience in the following is essential:
-Relational Database development (Microsoft SQL Server based, preferably 2005 or later) including query optimisation and replication
-ASP with ASP .NET V2 or higher being advantageous
-JavaScript / jQuery
-Experience in Photoshop / Paint.NET would be advantageous
A full driver???s license & car is not essential.
