Commis Chef

We are looking for a passionate Chef to join our fantastic kitchen team as a Commis Chef. We are looking for someone with excellent craftsmanship and passion that wants to develop in our company.

Details: An enthusiastic commis chef, you will assist our kitchen team in all daily duties to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen. This will involve receiving deliveries, food preparation and presentation of food. As a key member of a creative and hard working team, you will uphold the Thwaites Inns of Character core values and deliver exceptional standards of quality and service. First impressions count and you will be tasked with making sure our guests leave happy and keen to return. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with career progression available for the successful candidate and an ideal starting point for someone wishing to pursue an apprenticeship as a chef.

Requirements: We are looking for individuals who have a genuine passion for food, looking to develop and progress their career. Experience in a busy kitchen would be advantageous. Would also consider those completing courses at catering college.
