Maintenance Technician

Our client provides high quality products for the mobile and industrial equipment markets. They are now looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team.
This is a superb opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to share and develop knowledge, grow their career and enhance their skill-set with an innovative company.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for helping to provide engineering and process improvement support to our client’s manufacturing facility.
In this varied role, you will:
- Maintain building premises and facilities
- Perform ongoing maintenance activities, identify issues and analyse any malfunctioning equipment
- Recommend corrective actions to faults and make appropriate repairs or modifications
- Work with the Plant Engineering Manager and Engineers to ensure that all departmental needs are met
- Frequently check the quality of instrumentation
- Ensure that production, safety and legal requirements are met
- Help to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
Interested? To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need experience gained within a manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will have superb attention to detail, great analytical skills and the determination to get things right first time. Great communication, organisation and prioritisation skills are also key.
Ideally, you’ll have working knowledge of hydraulics and/or pneumatics. Experience in a general machining workshop, including the turning, milling and fitting of manual tools, would also be advantageous. Ideally, you will have completed an Advanced Apprenticeship, HNC or higher qualification in a mechanical, electrical or related discipline, but this is not essential.
Please note, this is a full time role, working morning and afternoon shifts on a rota basis.
