Field Technical Sales / Business Manager - Global Construction Anchors & Fixings Brand
Covering North London Area
£41,000 - £44,000 OTE + Car, Laptop, iPad, Phone

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to work for a world leading brand of construction fixings and help to grow our market share in the UK.

We are seeking to expand our National Sales Team and are looking to recruit a Technical Business Manager Covering the North of London.

Reporting to the Sales Team Manager, the Technical Business Manager will be required to:

+ Meet and exceed sales and profit targets as set.
+ Maintain and develop Customer loyalty and support

Field Technical Sales / Business Manager Duties:

+ Communicating with Customers/ potential Customers in person, by phone, site visits, demonstrations
+ Obtaining and forwarding orders in line with any Company policy
+ Present CPD seminars
+ Anchor testing at site
+ Anchor application recommendations
+ Conduct seminars/training for customers
+ Comply with requirements to use CRM and NexMart systems

Field Technical Sales / Business Manager Profile:

Skills Level:

+ Educated to GCSE Standard
+ Excellent communication both verbally and in writing
+ Computer literate - good use of Excel/Power Point/ Business warehouse

Interpersonal Skills:

+ Commercial awareness and an ability to develop and secure new business as well as build on existing relationships
+ Solid negotiating skills, dealing with people of all levels with tact and discretion. Ensuring Customers are satisfied with the outcome, whilst producing the highest possible margins and maintaining the correct payment terms
+ Ability to give practical demonstrations of the company products
+ Self-motivated, reliable, persistent, well organised and thorough. Ability to work on own initiative is essential

Experience:

+ Minimum three years in a representative sales environment
+ Engineering background is also useful
+ Conversant with construction site procedures
+ Fixing application knowledge at site level (although full training will be given)

Product Knowledge:

+ Comprehensive knowledge of the Company’s Products and the Competitors (full training will be given)
