Experienced Senior Finance Assistant required to work for a major employer based in Taunton, Somerset.

As a Senior Finance Assistant you will be responsible for dealing with more complex / high priority queries. You will work closely with your Line Manager to actively drive improved supplier compliance.

This is a full time, permanent role working 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday with a salary of ??17,790 PA.

Duties:

* Initiate and develop strong working relationships with key stake holders within the business, suppliers and colleagues.
* Proactively managing AP debts to minimise risk and manage recovery to agreed timescales.
* Manage specific accounts as nominated, including the resolution of disputed transactions.
* Controlling and driving change with non-compliant suppliers & invoices, addressing root causes.
* Providing ad hoc supplier analysis as requested.
* Reconciling supplier accounts to an agreed plan.
* Working within KPI's to deliver prompt resolution to supplier queries.
* Support the team and line manager at peak times, this will include training new starters.

The successful applicant will need to have experience within an office / finance function, preferably dealing with Accounts Payable / Purchasing department.

You will also need to be a good communicator at all levels and have strong attention to detail.
