Haybrook College educates young people aged 11 to 19 who have challenging and complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) or medical needs.
Millside School is a special school for young people with challenging and complex behaviours associated with a SEMH difficulty.
Haybrook College also has a KS3 and KS4 Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) which provides a range of high quality educational programmes helping to make positive changes in the lives of young people and ensuring the best possible educational outcomes.

Millside School is looking for a
HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT

Salary: Level 5, £21,941 pa Full Time Equivalent including Local Weighting
Actual pro rata salary £18,788 pa (£11.37 per hour)
Term time only + Inset Days
37 hours per week

We are looking for a suitably experienced person to support the learning, achievement and development of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) with special reference to required interventions and intervention programmes. The successful candidate will support and mentor individual pupils on the Communicate literacy programme and other 1:1 interventions as directed by the Head of Centre.

Applicants must have national Level 3 qualifications and evidence of recent training/professional development in mentoring and/or with challenging pupils.
