Salary: £16,098.00 per annum
Location: Garstang
Job Status: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours over 5 days a week

We’re looking for a Shop Manager to work in our busy Charity shop in Garstang.
Are you enthusiastic and want to make a difference? Would you like to contribute to saving lives by helping keep our helicopters flying 365 days a year?
The North West Air Ambulance Charity provides rapid pre-hospital care needed to make a life changing difference. We operate three helicopters, flying 365 days a year with doctors and paramedics on board providing emergency medical treatment when time is critical.
The Retail shops are vital to raising funds to maintain our helicopters and help increase public awareness of the Charity.
Are you interested in fashion, IT literate, organised, hardworking with experience of managing people and working with sales targets? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Key skills/experience:
- Maintain an appropriate income/expense budget in collaboration with the Head of Retail and be accountable for achieving it
- Seek, utilise and analyse management information including EPOS data to manage shop performance, seizing opportunities for improvement.
- Inspire the team to provide a great customer service and donor experience, which attracts new supporters every day
- Maintain an empowered, motivated and engaged volunteer team
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with an ability to supervise people
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel reasonable distances to meetings and provide cover in other shops as necessary
- Ensure health and safety compliance and internal policies are followed
