Internal Sales Executive / Telesales – Freight Forwarding
Our client is a rapidly expanding freight forwarding company who provide a full range of freight forwarding and packing services to both SME and Enterprise customers.
They are currently seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join the team with a view to retain and grow existing customer portfolios, whilst identifying and developing profitable new business.
Experience in freight forwarding is preferred, but not essential.
The drive and ambition to develop business over the phone is essential.
Main duties:
- Account management of a portfolio of existing customers
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries for all Advance services (freight and packing)
- Develop new business through outbound calls, which will include proactive prospecting and supporting the field sales team
- Customer profiling, quotation presentation and negotiation
- Collaboration with operations and sales support
- Ensure all activity is recorded in our client’s CRM, and monthly sales targets and KPI’s are achieved (telephone calls, sales pipeline, revenue & margin)
Starting salary: £20k basic + incentive – OTE. £25-30k.
This role is ideal for someone dynamic, who is not afraid to hit the phones and make lots of sales calls from warm and cold leads. The freight forwarding industry is a great industry to build a career within Sales, with good Sales people being constantly in high demand.
