Who we are:

We are a leading frozen fish manufacturer situated in Grimsby and we pride ourselves of high quality staff, products and customer service. 
We produce coated and IQF products for customers in the foodservice market. 

We would like candidates to have experience within a food production environment, preferably frozen fish manufacturing. Candidates must be enthusiastic, ambitious and preferably looking to progress further within our growing business. 

You will be working on site in Grimsby and will be supported by the experienced management team who will encourage your training and development, and you will be expected to drive results and motivate your team to success. 

The working hours are 50 hours per week, however these are subject to business requirements. 

You will supervise and manage the hardworking coating team, over two production lines, and will be reporting to the head of operations daily. 

All management are expected to support the team development and promote company standards and procedures. You must have effective communication with both your production and management team. 

There is a competitive salary and room for progression within the business. 

Shift Manager / Production Manager main responsibilities are: 

+ Quality of product
+ Throughput of product

+ Manage materials
+ Labour management
+ GMP to auditable standards
+ Overall Equipment Effectiveness; working with the engineers to identify any line issues.
+ Maintain hygiene 

Ideal candidate qualities: 

+ Previous successful leadership of a production line 
+ Frozen Fish/ Food Production experience
+ Knowledge and experience managing a team
+ High levels of numeracy & literacy 
+ Good level of computer abilities
+ Excellent communication skills 
+ Innovative and committed 
+ Hardworking
