Foreign Exchange Cashier

Our client is seeking a Foreign Exchange Cashier to work at their Croydon branch. The job holder will need to be flexible as it may be required where necessary to also work within their Brixton, Kingston or Wimbledon branches. A work rota is prepared approximately a month in advance. The role will require regular weekend working as they operate a 7 day a week operation. They strive to offer the best in customer service and value so they are seeking keen and self sufficient candidates.

Previous experience in foreign exchange or related activity, e.g. in a bank or travel agency, is desirable. A high standard of numeracy is necessary together with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely. The job holder will be required to process large numbers of transactions so attention to detail is a key quality. All transactions must be assessed and processed in line with Money Laundering Regulations.

This is a full time position, although part time would be considered. A written mathematical test will form part of the interview process.

Impeccable references will be required. Salary and hours by negotiation.
