I am currently recruiting for a data privacy / protection consultant who will focus on GDPR advisory across a range of clients. The right candidate will have a track record advising clients across data privacy and be keen to expand the network.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute into GDPR readiness programme of work
* Develop the privacy impact assessment process
* Respond to data subject access requests
* Develop / maintain data privacy awareness training programme
* Deliver data protection / data retention requirements as outlined within relevant standards
* Contribute into daily data privacy activities
* Monitor functional data processing activities
* Provide oversight on the management of data security controls
Experience:
* Must have detailed knowledge on the UK's Data Protection Act 1998; should have some knowledge on European data privacy laws
* Must have at least 3 years data privacy experience gained working in an operational capacity
* Must have knowledge of IT operations and data security controls gained whilst working within a geographically diverse environment
