We're looking for a passionate and driven HR System Administrator who has previous experience of working in a similar environment, ideally, in a large organisation. You will have a pragmatic approach to working with processes, information flows and data structures. Although not essential, candidates who have a background in HR system maintenance (in particular Resourcelink) or systems experience with a desire to move into an HR environment would be highly desirable for this role.

You'll be able to rapidly build strong long term working relationships at all levels and promote a continuous improvement culture across HR. You will have SQL, Microsoft Office knowledge and a high level of IT literacy skills which will allow you to work proactively to identify areas of system improvement or change.

What you'll be doing

In order to succeed in this role you will:

  • Deal with a variety of complex queries & issues
  • Escalate HR system incidents as and when required
  • Support/identify root cause of HR system issues and support/identify corrective action
  • Maintain the Resourcelink system which houses the HR and Self-Service capabilities and functions
  • Support and coordinate any maintenance requirements - this will be across multiple modules within the system
  • Oversee "housekeeping" of system data, including hierarchy maintenance and liaise with the department on any changes to system data required
  • Oversee and maintain any changes to security and operator profiles
  • Develop a suite of process guides to enable other members of the department to provide further support when required
  • Support in the logical design of HR systems and workflows
  • Support the organisations suite of HR systems, including managing change requests, maximising the capability of the systems and implementing new functionality
  • Provide support to various projects working across the team in order to provide assistance as/when required

Trinity Mirror plc has a strong benefits package which includes, for this role, a base salary of £20-25,000 per annum, 33 days holidays including Bank holidays, a competitive pension along with an extensive flexible benefits portfolio.
