Interaction Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has experience working on small works projects. 

My client is a privately owned contractor that works predominantly in East Sussex and Kent, contracts range in value between £50000 - £15 million. Due to a period of sustained growth they are winning work regularly and the order book is looking very healthy for 2017. Types of work include anything from commercial projects to affordable housing, historical refurbishments to education. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Preparing Tender and Contract documents 
• Preparing Bills of Quantities 
• Risk Management and Cost Control 
• Sub Contractor Work Allocation 
• Preparing Accurate Progress Reports 
• Completed Work Valuations and Payments

Key Experience and Requirements:

Over 5 Years Quantity Surveying Experience.
You will have experience of previously working within the same or similar role.
Degree qualified (or moving towards professional membership) is preferable.
Small Works experience essential.
Excellent communication/ Team work capability.
Computer literacy will also be essential.
