Sales Manager

An experienced Sales Manager is sought to join this business mailing company based in Southall, Middlesex.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 5, including Field Account Managers, a Field Business Development Manager and a Telesales Executive / Account Manager.

It's a role with huge scope for development, with big plans for the Sales Manager to grow new business sales as well as expand the sales team year on year.

Title: Sales Manager
Location: Southall, Middlesex
Salary: £55k - £70k basic salary per annum, plus commission, OTE £75k - £95k

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the sales team
- Setting KPIs
- Managing opportunity pipelines
- Training both Telesales and Field Sales staff
- Recruitment of new members of staff
- Working with the team to grown New Business sales by £300k - £350k

The ideal Sales Manager will possess the following:
- Strong experience of managing a field based sales team
- Experience of managing a telesales team (desirable)
- The ability to train and motivate staff
- An excellent work ethic, with a real focus on New Business Sales
- Experience of working in a consultative sales role

The organisation handles business mail for over 1400 clients in a range of industries including Publishing, Finance, Education and Not-for-Profit. They have 25 members of staff, with a turnover of £3.5million.
