This is a key position which has a major part in achieving dealership success by providing a professional service to our customers.
The Role
? We are looking for an Aftersales Apprentice to learn and work in our Aftersales Department
? A customer facing role in our Service departments including vehicles, commercial vehicles and our parts section
? Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner
? Portraying a positive first impression of the Service Department
? Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out
? Responsible for setting customer expectations and keeping in touch with them throughout the service or repair of their vehicle
? Informing customers of the progress of their vehicle
? Advising on the customer on repairs and parts
? Finalising the invoices on completion of required work
? Following up with the customer the day after to ensure they are satisfied with the service given
? Full-time apprenticeship may include "block-release" at the training academy
The Person
? We are looking for an exceptional individual who has an interest in working in the automotive industry
? Strong communication skills are needed
? Customer focus and relationship maintenance are of paramount importance in this role
? Excellent time management skills
? The successful applicant will be self-motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service
? Someone who will enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of the Services department
? Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
? Someone who enjoys the challenge of working in a fast paced environment with several deadlines and tasks
? You must be IT literate
