JOB PURPOSE

  • Provide hands-on financial management for BRH and associated companies

1. Maintain oversight and responsibility for all finance systems and processes Manage book-keeping responsibilities; maintaining appropriate financial records

2. Managing payments in from tenants and out to landlords in an accurate and timely manner.

3. Manage late payment processes within service standards

4. Prepare and submit monthly management account pack to the Managing Director

MAIN DUTIES

  • Reconciling the appropriate bank account downloads with the appropriate software systems, ensuring company financial records are accurate
  • Processing and managing creditor & debtor payments within the defined in-house company process
  • Responsibility for effective management of company client accounts including interactions with deposit protection scheme(s)
  • Management of the collection of rental payments and the processing of such payments to landlord clients
  • Managing the late payment process and ensuring adherence to timescales
  • Preparation of a monthly board pack
  • Liaising with Operations Manager and the company's accountant to implement monthly payroll and distribute payslips
  • Apply landlord charges in respect of maintenance
  • Reconcile supplier statements and company credit card statements
  • Maintain oversight of company expenditure including overheads
  • Provide a monthly report of expenditure for all staff
  • Manage contractor payments, prepare a P&L per project and distribute profit share
