Rental & Sales Manager

Our client is a large independently owned car, van, minibus and truck rental company with a strong presence throughout Yorkshire. We offer a wide range of vehicles from small economy cars, vans, luxury MPV’s and 17 seat Minibus’ to trucks. We are now looking for an experienced Rental & Sales Manager to join our team in Wakefield.

The role
As the Rental & Sales Manager you will have full responsibility for your branch to ensure your team deliver world class customer service and increase business. Your responsibilities will include:
• Motivating and inspiring your team on a daily basis
• Working to achieve sales targets and KPI’s
• Researching and cold calling potential customers and account managing existing customers
• Demonstrating a passion for developing others as well as yourself
• Performance managing your team to drive sales and service
• Ensuring your branch is up to date with all back office administration
• Working together with the management team to ensure you promote Arrow Self Drive to our customers

What you’ll need
It is essential that you will have a thorough and recent understanding of the challenges of the rental and sales sector, reaching KPI's and targets and delivering your work to the highest standard. You will be able to demonstrate proactive sales skills, preferably from a similar industry (vehicle sales / rental / maintenance) in both account management and in new business generation. You will be able to demonstrable commercial acumen and results-orientation.
