As a Toxicologist, you’ll provide court admissible analytical results and expert witness reports and statements for use within legal proceedings. 

In this important role, you’ll perform mass spectrometry analysis (LC-MS/MS) for toxicological investigations on a wide range of biological sample types, in compliance with regulations. 

You’ll generate interpretative reports and statements detailing toxicological findings for court cases. Additionally, you will attend court to provide impartial forensic toxicological expert witness testimony where necessary.

To be considered, you’ll need: 

- Experience of LC-MS/MS and generating reports and/or statements resulting from analytical investigations 
- A high level of IT literacy 
- The ability to generate court reports and attend court to provide testimony 
- The ability to work in a confidential environment 
- A degree or higher in Forensic Toxicology or a closely related field 

Detail-oriented and calm under pressure, as a Toxicologist, you’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You’ll also be highly organised and able to work well, both individually and as part of a team.
