Job Title: Group Health & Safety Advisor

Davies Turner has 23 branches nationwide, with over 1 million sq. feet of multi-user warehousing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing the health and safety policies for employees, visitors and contractors across all sites, ensuring that the company remains regulatory compliant at all times.   The role will involve visiting the sites, offering advice, guidance and training when required.

Health and Safety Advisor - What are we looking for?

- Previous experience as a H & S Advisor, preferably within a warehouse environment

- NEBOSH General Certificate

- A ‘can do’, positive, motivational attitude

- Excellent communication skills - able to easily converse with employees Directors and external bodies

- Active involvement in H&S meetings at branch and Group level

- Development of accident, incident and near miss reduction initiatives in conjunction with Managers and H&S co-ordinators

- Supporting management in the development of risk assessments and safe working practices

- Current driving licence.
