We need a responsible, hard-working individual that is flexible to the needs of the department. This role will always provide you with new opportunities to learn about the wide range of technology that you will be configuring and testing.
Previous experience working with the flashing, unlocking and advanced modifications of such devices on a software level will be essential. You will be working within a team of engineers and testers, as their point of reference for all things digital. Additionally, you will be required to create and implement the process for unlocking devices within the team. This is a fast paced, dynamic role within one of the regions fastest growing companies ??? an opportunity that simply cannot be missed!
Core Responsibilities:
- Flashing ROM???s and various operating systems. Researching unlocking methods and translating it into simple, actionable terms for members of the team. Develop an on-going database of unlocking methods for various brands, models and operating systems
- Previous experience with software like Odin and unlocking boxes
- Sourcing the necessary hardware to ensure such tasks can be completed in-house, such as unlocking boxes
- A strong understanding of Practice Electrostatic Discharge standards, due to the nature of the working environment
