An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team based in Lambeth.

Supervising and managing the operation of designated sites on a daily basis, you will be responsible for a team of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring handovers are delivered in line with the contract KPI.

Within the role, you will monitor and control work flows whilst acting as a mentor to operatives and trainees. Candidates for this position will monitor the progress and completion of works to both foreman and the team of operatives. Managing the use of subcontractors, you will make certain they comply with all company standards of work performance, customer service and procedures.

The successful Assistant Site Manager will act as a focal point in respective teams alongside coordinating the allocation of work to the team of operatives whilst liaising with customer service and clerical support team members. Organising and directing operatives to guarantee continuity and improve productivity, you will act as a liaison point on site for Mears Management and the clerk of works in the absence of supervisors.

Candidates for this position will possess previous experience of decent homes internals and external works coupled with previous experience of working in Social Housing environment. With resident liaison experience, you will have experience of supervising operatives and subcontractors. The successful Assistant Site Manager will hold a relevant H&S qualification coupled with asbestos awareness. Preferably candidates for this position will have experience of working in conjunction with a Local Authority Client, and Decent Homes external programme. Ideally you hold a CSCS Card coupled with Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme Training. Although not essential to the position, it would be beneficial if candidates hold a CITB or equally approved Scaffolding Inspection Certification. Moreover, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong customer focus and the ability to succeed in our dynamic team.
