Our company is working with a prestigious Syndicate that is looking for a Claims Adjuster to join their liability team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of worldwide Professional Indemnity, Casualty and General Liability claims and ensure they are settled in a cost-effective and timely manner.
Job Requirements
* Handling a portfolio of worldwide PI, Casualty and General Liability claims, up to £250K
* Monitor and improve claims processes ensuring feedback is communicated to senior management
* Build and enhance relationships with Underwriters, Brokers and Legal Professionals
* Manage TPA/Coverholder relationships
* Ensure claims MI and reporting requirements are met
* Ensure all compliance and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and ensure all emerging risks are reported
* Respond to wider business needs and complete ad-hoc duties where required
Skills / Experience Required:
* 5+ year's Professional Indemnity claims experience
* Experience of International Casualty and/or General Liability claims
* Experience of MedMal claims, beneficial but not essential
* Experience handling claims on a worldwide remit, N.American focus
* Ability to manage and develop key relationships with Underwriters, Brokers and Third Parties
* Strong knowledge of the Lloyd's insurance market
* Strong understanding of regulatory controls within insurance claims
* Ability to use the ECF system
* ACII or working towards
