My client is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their busy Group Finance Team for an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
* Assisting with the preparation of Group management accounts
* Analysing and reconciling previous year's financial information for the consolidation system
* Analysing and reconciling of intercompany balances
* Assisting the implementation and embedding of new group reporting, budgeting and forecasting
* Assisting the development and roll out of Financial Accounting policies
* Preparing ad-hoc financial analysis for both finance and non-finance heads of business
The candidate:
* Nearly/Newly Qualified (ACA or ACCA preferred)
* Experience of group consolidation and group accounts preparation
* Advanced Excel skills
