I have an opportunity for two talented Java Developer to join an exciting project team who are looking to build a high performance cloud based computing platform. This Senior Java Developer role is critical to helping the organisation progress.
As a senior Java Developer you will have the following skills/experience:
* Expert Java developer using Core Java version 8
* Comfortable working in a highly agile environment
* Knowledge and experience around back end Java development
* Experience with Struts, Spring or Hibernate
* Excellent communicator and able to deal with stakeholders of all levels
Desirable Skills:
* Talend / ODI / Informatica
* XML/XSD
* Angular / Node
* Postgres
The right candidate will be an expert when it comes to core Java and ideally have experience with Spring, Hibernate, Struts etc. You will be a self-starter trusted to get on with technical issues and help other developers in a close knit project team.
The Senior Java Developer will be working closely with the business that is focused around wealth management and risk so experience in that area would be a distinct advantage.
In previous roles you will have worked through an agile framework with short sprints and TDD techniques during the development of applications, you will also be looked upon to improve the working practices of the development team.
Finally you will be a strong communicator and able to talk through technical challenges with your peers.
