Growing our business and reaching out further to support more people at home is a key focus for our company.

To enable us to do this we are looking for carers who can will also support new business growth. We are currently recruiting a dual focussed role where the successful applicant will:

  1. Work as a home care assistant to support new care packages
  2. Work on initiatives to generate new business e.g. help identify and target new markets for carers and clients, be involved in promotional material distribution, attendance and contribution to recruitment fairs and other recruitment campaigns 
  3. Review existing care packages over the phone with current clients and document follow up actions and outcomes
  4. Work alongside the office and on-call team completing administration tasks and other ad hoc tasks as required

How this role will work:

This person will complete care calls with new clients within Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted until there is a full list of clients in the run. Once clients are comfortable and familiar with our service this person will introduce the clients to their regular carer and transfer across to them.

This will then enable them to grow a new run of clients through targeted marketing efforts.

When there are no care calls to complete during the contractual working hours, this person will be out in field or within the office to support other new business activities, client reviews and administration support (as outlined above).

The skills and attributes this person will need:

  • A caring and empathetic approach to supporting clients in their home
  • To demonstrate application of social care best practice within care calls 
  • Strong and effective communicator – Verbal and written
  • Good IT skills – confident using software such as MS Office and willing to learn the CareFree software
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work within a changing working environment 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure 
  • A committed approach to work 
  • A strong representative externally of Nash Homecare (to potential new clients and new carer) 

Working pattern and hours of work for this role:

  • Monday to Friday 8am to 2.30pm - £277.23 per week
  • Monday to Friday 4pm to 10pm - £255.90 per week
  • Saturday and Sunday: 8am to 2.30pm - £127.92 per weekend shift
  • Saturday and Sunday: 4pm to 10pm - £118.08 per weekend shift

Type of contract offered: Guaranteed hours contract

Locations of work: Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted (plus surrounding areas)
