Our Client is a leading national provider of retirement housing and care services for people aged 65 and above. They deliver affordable, contemporary, person-centred care and housing that meets individual needs, improves wellbeing and promotes independent living.
They are currently looking for a Property Development Manager to join them on a permanent, full time basis. This is a mobile role where you will focus on the East Anglia and South East region.
Responsibilities of this position include:
• Identifying suitable property development opportunities and initiatives that will contribute to the new housing growth objectives and solutions that assist in the delivery of new initiatives
• Engaging and managing consultants to establish innovative designs that set a new standard for retirement housing and are highly desired by the target market.
• Briefing and instructing solicitors and other 3rd party advisors to secure our Client’s investment and ensure delivery of projects.
• Leading, managing, and delivering property development projects within both financial and time constraints, whilst liaising with key partners, and other departments.
• Keeping abreast of changes in legislation, good practice in housing and care environment.
They are looking for someone with previous experience in identifying and appraising new opportunities for redevelopment. You will also be a team player who is able to work to deadlines whilst showing enthusiasm for providing a high standard of customer service. The successful candidate will also be expected to frequently travel nationally to appraise sites for development potential.
