Mechanical Test Engineer

This company design, manufacture and supply in excess of 450 high quality products satisfying the UK and overseas markets.
The products are produced under a 'World Class' quality system accredited to ISO9001, ensuring the highest possible standards are maintained.

Expansion within the company has highlighted an opportunity for an additional Mechanical Test Engineer. The products manufactured all undergo an extensive test before completion.
The work is varied, interesting and demanding as we expect high standards for quality and performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:
- HNC minimum in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Previous test experience in relevant mechanical/inspection background
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Positive approach

Desirable:
- A Level in physics or equivalent
- Fitting/wiring experience
- Calibration experience
- ISO Quality background


In return they offer a full time permanent position with a competitive rate of pay. Overtime is paid after 37 hours at time and a half.
Hours are 37 hours per week, i.e. 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday (1/2 hour for lunch), 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Friday
