Primary Teacher

Primary School Teacher - We have been asked by a number of Local Authorities in Scotland to recruit primary teachers for permanent positions starting August 2017.  For the right candidates, consideration will be given to immediate appointments.

Our client primary schools range in location from small towns in the Lowlands to rural locations in the Highlands and more remote areas in the Islands.  Vacancies are available across the whole primary age range and year groups with more remote schools having mixed age year groups.

All our school offer an excellent teaching environment where teaching staff are well supported by the Headteacher and the local community.  While emphasis on literacy and numeracy is always a high priority, this is always balanced by a broad curriculum in which all pupils can flourish.

Scottish schools are looking for primary teachers who are confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best.  Candidates must be fully qualified primary teachers with excellent classroom practices and a love of teaching.  Schools will consider NQTs as well as more experienced teachers.

In most cases Skype interviews are an accepted alternative to face to face interviews and assistance will be given to help newly appointed teachers find suitable accommodation.
