HGV Technician Vacancy - Early & Late Shift

Permanent Position
Circa ??33,000 DOE / Plus Overtime / Career Progression / Pension
We are working with a market leading commercial vehicle group who are now looking to add to the workshop team at their site in the area.
The position is within a main dealership environment with up to date equipment and manufacturer training.
Job Duties:
* Responsible for keeping clients fleets of trucks and trailers compliant with O Licence regulations.
* Full service and repairs Commercial Vehicles.
* The Efficient and timely diagnosis of standard faults and ensure underlying problems are resolved.
* Carrying out pre-MOT work as and when required.
* Working to deadlines to ensure that work is completed on time.
Requirements:
* Formally qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent (may consider time served Technicians if have enough experience)
* Specific experience of working on HGV vehicles
* Familiar with PMI & servicing procedures
* Class 1 HGV licence an advantage but not essential.
* Must have own tools
Hours:
Monday to Friday (Apply online only) / (Apply online only) plus every other Saturday morning (Apply online only) which is paid at time and half rate on top of your basic salary.
Package:
On offer is a starting salary of circa ??33,000 depending on your level of qualifications/experience
Any and all hours worked over the standard contracted 40 per week is also paid at time and half a rate.
For the right candidate who aspires to further their career there will be plenty of opportunity to step up the ladder to more senior positions as the company normally only promote from within.
