IT Engineer - Systems Engineer

Due to their continued success and growth, this established, modern IT Support company are looking for an engineer to join their busy team.

Working as part of the engineering team, you will provide remote and onsite support to customers based around the UK. The right candidate will be self-motivated with excellent customer service skills, and take a clear logical approach to problem solving whilst under pressure.

The company are looking for flexibility and willingness to travel, so candidates must hold a full clean UK driving license. The engineers currently work a 4 week shift pattern, so you must be available to work every other Saturday.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and troubleshooting the following:

- Windows Server (recent versions of)
- Windows 7/8/10
- Firewalls
- Internet connections
- Backup systems

Experience with some of the following would be desirable:

- Microsoft Exchange / Office 365
- Powershell
- Active Directory
- IP phones and SIP
- Asterisk / FreePBX
- IP CCTV Systems
- HP server builds
- Veeam / Backup Exec / SSR
- Managed Switches
- Unifi hardware and controllers
- Cisco Routers
- Hyper-V
- SSL Certificates
- Azure and EC2 hosting
- cPanel
