Forest Holidays has plans and funding to open several more beautiful locations across the country and we have a strategy to develop our own talent as we expand. It is an exciting time to join Forest Holidays at our largest location in the beautiful Forest of Dean, and be part of a team that is focused on success. This new role will make a material difference to all the commercial and operational aspects at our largest location. Responsible for the development of all retail, food and beverage and other ancillary opportunities including, new products, activities and other initiatives you will provide direction and encouragement to our existing highly motivated teams with the objective of increasing sales and customer expectations. You will be key in developing ongoing efficient operating processes, training and developing the team.

You will need to be passionate about creating new income streams whilst having an innovative approach to our business. You will be results driven, focused and your creativity and enthusiasm for the Forest Holidays proposition will be clear while you champion our values and behaviours.

Skills and Experience:

A great communicator and sales focussed commercial manager, with a passion for numbers and achieving results will be very much at home in this role. You will have worked in the hospitality or retail environment where clear expectations and consistent standards are part of the culture and with the ability to manage your own workload, make decisions and work collaboratively at all levels. You will be inspired by this challenge.

An inspiring leader and effective communicator with a strong customer-focus and a positive outlook on life. You will have a track record of achieving results and promoting world-class service. A self-starter with the motivation and initiative to deliver, you will have a track record of leading a team to produce growth and results ideally with experience in a retail or F&B environment.

Location: Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full time
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Contract Type: Permanent
