Interior Designer - Altrincham

Our client is a well established (over 25 years) Cheshire based design practice working in the high end luxury residential market. They also design Show Home interiors for high-end developers. Previous experience in high-end residential design would be advantageous although well qualified recent graduates will also be considered. Full driving licence is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Ordering and specifying products, multi-tasking several projects at one time, creating specifications for ongoing projects
Spatial planning and room layouts
Fully proficient with AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
3D Max is not essential but would be an advantage
Produce CAD drawings for presentation (plans, elevations, sections, details) and architectural specification
Design architectural elements as required (joinery, doors, cornicing, architrave, bathrooms and kitchens)
Work closely with the design team to prepare, develop and produce client concept designs and presentation documents
Ability to prepare presentations through use of Adobe software programs such as InDesign and PowerPoint
Prepare relevant schedules for issue to a contractor
Sourcing FF&E and dealing with suppliers
Consideration of materials and cost according to a set budget
