The COMPANY: We are delighted to be working with a well-established successful local business. Our client has an enviable reputation nationwide and has developed into one of the leading fabricators of specialist Architectural metalwork in the UK.
The company is going through an internal restructuring at the moment which paves the way for a great opportunity for a Management Accountant who will be the lynch pin between operations, finance and the Directors.
THE ROLE: This position would suit someone who is qualified or part-qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA Accountant who has experience of preparing monthly Management Accounts, Year-end statutory financial statements and ideally managing a small team.
You will be responsible for providing the best in class financial information and support to the company management and stakeholders, as well as working with company directors and management to assist in making management decisions.
You will relay information from the accounting department to the management team through the implementation of a comprehensive reporting system and take control of the company
The CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work on their own initiative with the ability to meet strict deadlines. Your system skills will include advanced Excel and experience with integrated financial IT systems. You will have a strong attention to detail and must be able to think strategically - putting your analytical and critical thinking skills to good use.
Ideally you will have experience within the Manufacturing industry, however this is not essential. Previous experience within SME organisations would be an advantage.

- Part or fully qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA
- Suitably experienced within a Management Accountant role with the ability to manage a role like this autonomously.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of accounting terms and concepts.
- A good understanding of finance regulations and legislation.
- Knowledge of business strategy and methodology.
