New opportunity not to be missed! Bush & Company, part of the NAHL Group, have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team based in Daventry. We are offering the successful Finance Manager a competitive salary of £35K -£40k depending on experience plus excellent benefits.

The Finance Manager Role

In conjunction with the Financial Controller, it will be your responsibility to effectively control the company’s finances. You will also be required to provide day to day professional management of personnel to ensure accurate timely and correct administration of duties.

Key Responsibilities as our Finance Manager:

- Preparation of month end management accounts, to include profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow and aged debtors,

- Investigation of variances arising in the monthly accounts.

- Assisting with the forecasting of trading results.

- Assisting with financial planning, annual budgeting and setting targets for the financial year.

- Assisting with working capital, cash flow management and forecasting.

- Year-end preparation for audit

- To recommend final adjustments to the management accounts.

- Monitor and interpret appropriate and timely KPI’s for the business.

- To achieve and deliver objectives as identified in support of the Company’s business plan

- Management of Credit Controllers

- Management of Other Finance Personnel

- VAT Returns

- Payroll

Skills and Experience needed to become our Finance Manager:

- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge current processes.

- An advocate for change and continuous improvement with the ability to influence others to follow.

- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

- Superb attention to detail.

- Reliable, hardworking and extremely conscientious.

- Ability to work under pressure whilst being able to absorb and retain information.

- Good team player.

- In the latter stages of a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA).

- Experience of working with Sage and Microsoft Office applications.
