What we don’t want:
The team have a huge bug bare when seeing ‘job hoppers’; it is far too risky. Lots of jobs in a short space of time is not something they want to progress with, so if someone has had 3 or more jobs in the last 3 years, then they simply will not proceed with them. There would have to be exceptional circumstances in order to do so.
If an individual has oversees experience, and has it in abundance, but then only has a year or so in the UK, then again, they think it would be too much of a risk as it is a completely different market. They would have to prove that they have amazing technical skills, as well as communication skills.
If the individual has been very successful previously in their employment, at a much higher level, and now happy to accept a mid-range salary, again they will not progress. This to them is a risk, and does not inspire confidence that the person is a great performer. There’s a reason if someone was a director, senior person in sales, and now happy to accept a £35k role etc. It’s a bit of a red flag for the team, as it does not make sense as to why someone would accept that level now.
