Reporting to the Credit Management Team Leader and working as part of a busy team, as a Credit Controller you’ll manage and maintain an allocated part of the sales ledger working to the credit management processes and policies, whilst building strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure delivery of great customer service.

Your responsibilities and duties will include although not be limited to;

• Controlling activity on (est) 800 allocated accounts within a larger sales ledger team, chasing outstanding payments over the phone, and by email / letter, to facilitate optimum cashflow and minimise overdue debt
• Allocating payments on the computer system
• Maintaining accurate and up to date customer account records
• Developing strong relationships with customers delivering the highest possible levels of service
• Monitoring and reviewing credit accounts
• Working closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure all client enquiries are dealt with efficiently and resolving customer discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintaining the overdue debt reporting and reviewing with management

To be considered for this Credit Controller role you will have the following experience, skills, knowledge and attributes;

• Proven experience as an effective Credit Controller
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer focussed with a drive to deliver a quality customer service
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually
• IT Literacy with superb knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Self-motivated with a proactive and professional approach to work
• Respect the need to work in a highly confidential manner with integrity
• Aptitude for working under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Good organisational skills

Salary: £17,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience

Annual leave starting at 20 days plus statutory holidays rising by one day per completed calendar year to a maximum of 25 days.

Hours of Work: 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Deeside (Flintshire, North Wales). Conveniently located near to Chester, Wirral and the M56.
